1. Nature’s Bounty

Bringing nature into the home has been a huge trend for 2021. In a year where the first three months were spent indoors, it became really important to bring the outdoors in to our homes. Nature’s Bounty brings natural greens into our Christmas decorations with trees and garlands galore in traditional schemes.

6ft mixed-tip natural-look green tree, £80; 480 multifunctional LED cluster lights, £25; mini mercury traditional glass baubles, £15 for 20; gold beaded shaker baubles, £5 for 12; jewelled flower decorations, £6 for nine; gold pine cone decorations, £4 for 12; red, gold and traditional baubles, all £8 for 48; large gold star, £14, all Habitat. For a similar paint shade, try Goblin absolute matt emulsion, £48.50 per 2.5ltrs, Little Greene

2. Relaxed Japandi

Colour wise, the neutral shades combine with elements of black and charcoal for a nature-inspired look. A wood burner in a bedroom is a real Scandi addition, as is adding texture to the walls in the form of wood panelling, creating the perfect space to retire to at night. The Relaxed Japandi scheme in the Good Homes’ roomsets at the Ideal Home Show Christmas will showcase more of this look. Add to this look with sustainable Christmas wrapping – brown parcel paper, which can be recycled, embellished with pretty ribbons.

3. Opal Blush

Elevate a pale pink and white palette by introducing accent shades of ice blue, mint green and a generous scattering of metallics, embellishments and pearlescent finishes. Mixing sophisticated shades of pink with on-trend pampas and glitter-infused accessories, this elevates a feminine shade to create an elegant scheme. Combine the pink with soft gold, icy blue and plenty of shimmer and sparkle for a pop of Christmas cheer.
