Whilst we wait for government lockdown measures to be lifted, many of us have been experimenting with the latest food and drink trends taking social media by storm. But whilst our routine reservations are put on hold for the time being, many food outlets are getting innovative with their offerings, bringing their signature dishes to our doorsteps. So if you’ve tried and failed to replicate your restaurant favourites, these ‘finish-at-home’ meal kits provide a gourmet experience for mum, or mother-like figure, this Mothering Sunday.

Shuk has created a one-off Mother’s Day brunch kit with delicious egg based Shakshuka and toasted plaited Challah bread, followed by an afternoon of chocolate and hazelnut Babka baking! With enough to feed four, the brunch can be easily prepared by warming the Shakshuka sauce and gently dropping the Cacklebean eggs in to poach.
