Not only is April the month when it’s OK to eat chocolate with wild abandon in the name of Easter, but it’s also when I optimistically start thinking about sitting outside to eat my lunch. Unfortunately, it’s never quite warm enough – unless I’m under a warm throw or in front of a firepit – but before you know it the sun will be sitting high in the sky, and I’ll be enjoying my impending garden makeover to the full. At the moment, it’s a mass of rotten old decking and piles of mud, but stay tuned as I’ll be sharing our progress over the coming months.
