9 style lessons we can learn from And Just Like That… interiors.
And Just Like That… is back and so too is our compulsion to cringe-watch our way through each and every episode.
As Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda continue to navigate midlife mayhem in Manhattan, the Sex And The City follow-up is serving just as much interiors’ inspo as it is wardrobe envy.
“Season 3 of And Just Like That features new interior designs that beautifully illustrate the characters’ evolving lives,” explains Sarah Bratt, interior designer at My Bespoke Room.
“We see this clearly in the unique spaces created for each of them, from Carrie Bradshaw’s refreshed Gramercy Park townhouse to Seema Patel’s opulent Upper East Side residence.
“The interiors featured in the show function as more than just settings; they truly embody the characters’ identities, providing a visual story of their personal development and changes.”
From Carrie’s upscaled home with its softer palette and sculptural lighting, to the grown-up classicism in Charlotte’s Upper East Side apartment and Seema’s sleek, high-gloss glamour-pad, the show manages to blend modern Manhatton luxe with each character’s individual personal flair.
“The interiors in And Just Like That are a celebration of aspirational New York living,” adds Maria Ramirez, founder and design director at BB Interiors.
“Each character’s home reflects their personality, lifestyle and evolution, wrapped in an aesthetic that blends luxury with lived-in charm.
“From polished uptown apartments to relaxed Brooklyn townhouses, the series offers an endless stream of design ideas rooted in character and context.”
But you don’t need a New York brownstone (or the budget) to channel some of the looks in your own home.
With a little clever styling, layered textures and a few hero pieces, you can bring a touch of Fifth Avenue fabulousness to even the most British of new builds.
Because who says you can’t channel Carrie and co in the Cotswolds?

Channel Carrie’s grown-up elegance
In the latest season, Carrie trades her iconic brownstone for a grand Greek Revival townhouse in Gramercy Park.
“Carrie’s move to a roomy Gramercy Park townhouse marks a significant décor change from her familiar Upper East Side apartment,” explains Sarah.
“Her new home is filled with light and air, and festures a soft, neutral colour scheme.
“The design blends classic vintage elements with modern sophistication, incorporating personal items that showcase Carrie’s distinctive taste.
“The large windows bathe the rooms in natural light, emphasising the minimalist yet inviting decor.”
Maria agrees this move marks a real shift in Carrie’s personal and design identity.
“Gone are the cluttered bookshelves and bohemian mix of her past.
“Her new space is more architectural, spacious and serene.
“Think refined plasterwork, soft tonal layers, sculptural lighting and a sophisticated restraint that still leaves room for moments of quirk and personality.
“It is clear she has grown into a version of herself that embraces quiet luxury while holding onto her instinct for the unexpected,” she adds.
To get the look at home Maria suggests investing in elegant foundational pieces and allow more space to flow around them.
“Let the architecture speak for itself and use colour and texture with restraint,” she continues.
“Add interest through statement lighting or artwork. Keep things personal, but intentional.”

Embrace Charlotte’s uptown glamour
Charlotte’s apartment remains the epitome of Park Avenue refinement.
“With soft colour palettes, floral motifs, crisp upholstery and timeless furnishings, her home radiates harmony and poise,” explains Maria.
“It is elegant, symmetrical and beautifully composed, just like Charlotte herself.”
If you want a similarly poised look in your own home Maria recommends incorporating symmetry into your layout.
“Use matching side tables, chairs or lamps to create calm and visual balance,” she says.
“Introduce traditional patterns such as florals or soft checks in upholstery, curtains or wallpaper to add timeless character.”

Panel drench your walls
In the latest season, Carrie’s new abode features high ceilings, full length windows and ornate panelled walls throughout.
“Panel drenching, which means installing panelling on one or more of your walls, is becoming an increasingly popular trend,” explains Summa Costandi, co-founder at decorative wall panel company, Panels by Sofia.
“It’s a great way to create a cohesive and immersive space by introducing texture into the home.”
Summa says the classic design featured in Carrie’s apartment exudes luxury and creates a beautifully timeless finish, particularly as it’s painted in a bright off-white shade.
“This is something that can be easily re-created by installing shaker style wall panels throughout the home to create a sophisticated and refined finish,” she continues.
“To achieve the same classically elegant style as seen in Carrie’s apartment, I’d recommend painting the walls and panels in the same colour as this will give a seamless finish and help bring the room together.”

Go bold like Seema
Seema’s interiors are everything she is.
“Bold, confident and utterly self-assured. “Her space leans into drama with rich tones, glossy finishes and statement pieces that do not ask for permission,” explains Maria.
“There is a seductive quality to it, luxurious but not try-hard. It is the kind of apartment where cocktails come before conversation and style is never up for debate.”
If you’re looking for a similar punchy vibe back home, Maria suggests opting for colours and textures that feel indulgent, like deep velvets, rich woods and moody lighting.
“Anchor the room with one or two bold pieces that bring structure and attitude.
“Less filler, more statement,” she adds.

Curate your collection
Carrie’s home has a serene sense of being collected over time rather than perfectly staged.
To achieve a similar look, Sarah suggests using soft, creamy tones on the walls to let vintage treasures and striking pieces shine without overwhelming the room.
“Mixing vintage furniture with modern lighting fixtures or sleek accessories can create a lovely balance,” she adds.
“Think about incorporating antique or mid-century dressers, plush armchairs, a slightly worn Persian or kilim rug, and touches of brass or mixed metals.”
Finally, adding plush throws, linen curtains, silk or velvet cushions, and subtle floral accents through wallpaper, upholstery, or decorative items can evoke Carrie’s romanticism.
“The key is to display your personality through books, fashion magazines, and cherished items, aiming for a lived-in elegance rather than a perfectly matched style,” Sarah adds.

Chinz but make it chic
Charlotte’s interior style is reflective of her elegant and classic fashion choices, but with elements of chintz and plenty of pretty florals.
“Charlotte’s apartment features a mixture of prints and patterns throughout, creating a comforting and welcoming family home environment.,” explains Summa.
If you want to experiment with pattern in your own abode Summa recommends keeping the overall colour scheme soft and earthy.
“In Charlotte’s home we see a mostly neutral colour palette, with pastel accents used to highlight certain features, such as wall panels and door frames,” she explains.
“The beauty of keeping your base colour soft is that you can play around with pattern in the accessories to create a harmonious yet cosy living space.”

Find a modern/rustic balance like Miranda
Miranda’s brownstone in Brooklyn showcases an industrial chic aesthetic, with exposed brick walls and open-concept spaces.
“The interiors are a fusion of modern design and rustic charm, featuring vintage furniture pieces and contemporary art,” explains Sarah.
“The space is both functional and stylish, reflecting Miranda’s dynamic personality and professional life.”
To recreate a similar look Sarah suggests opting for an urban, earthy palette with charcoal, grey, warm browns, muted greens, and brick red.
“Accent these hues with turquoise, rust, aged gold, and matte black,” she adds.
Sarah also recommends highlighting architectural details like exposed brick and recreating the feel with reclaimed wood shelves and industrial lighting in matte black or aged brass.
“Miranda’s furniture is comfortable and clean-lined,” Sarah continues.
“Look for modular sofas in textured fabrics, open shelving, natural wood coffee tables, and simple dining chairs.”
Finally, she suggests incorporating reading nooks, layered lighting with warm-toned bulbs, woven rugs, and a mix of textures like wool and linen for a lived-in feel.

Keep it timeless like Charlotte
Charlotte’s home continues to exude classic elegance, with refined details and a welcoming atmosphere.
“The interiors feature a mix of traditional and contemporary elements, creating a timeless appeal,” explains Sarah.
“Soft colour schemes and tasteful decor choices reflect Charlotte’s sophisticated taste and commitment to family life.
“Her space blends traditional design with curated luxury, showcasing her refined taste, love of art, and commitment to beautiful order.”
To achieve a similar look, Sarah suggests sticking to a classic, monochromatic palette featuring cream, ivory, soft grey, and pale blush, with accent colours like navy, deep red (reminiscent of the signature red knobs on her La Cornue stove), and subtle gold.
“Opt for well-upholstered sofas and chairs with clean lines, tufting, or rolled arms in neutral materials such as linen, velvet, and leather,” she adds.
“Her kitchen is a showstopper – luxurious yet functional, featuring a statement stove, marble finish worktops, and inset cabinetry.”

Go classic with art
As a former gallerist, Charlotte’s home is filled with curated artwork (avoiding trendy prints).
To pull together a similarly intentional look Sarah suggests opting for framed black-and-white photography, modern art in traditional frames, and sculptural pieces displayed on pedestals or styled shelves.
