Colour trend: peony pink

Power to the people, peony pink is this seasons hottest shade. Whether you’re painting your bathroom, choosing a new handbag or buying a fresh lipstick – poppin’ pink is the way forward.

The vibrant hues provide an instant pick-me-up and it works well with a huge assortment of other shades making it the ideal colour for accessories, furniture and other extras to add to your existing scheme. This upcycled sideboard is a great example of this as it fits in wonderfully with the powder blue walls and flooring.

3. Tiles

Wall tiles are unique and can add a hotel chic vibe to your bathroom. As seen in the example below, opting for a bold statement tile colour like these Cliq ceramic wall tiles in hot pink (£77.04 per sqm, Topps Tiles), helps the fixtures and fitting like mirrors, lights and basins pop out. The pink also pairs perfectly with the plants if you’re a fan of foliage in your wet room!

Peony pink furnishings and accessories

If redecorating is a bit further than you’d like to go at the moment, investing in some new accessories is a great way to bring the peony pink trend into your home.

Add vibrance into your neutral living space with a bright pink sofa set, or bring in some popping new cushions and throws to revive an old settee. In the kitchen, transform the space by simply adding a new juicer or tableware set. Even a new light fitting in the stunning peony pink shade will leave a lasting impact on the room.
