Scrolling through Insta for homes inspo is one of our favourite pastimes. Sure, we love creating Pinterest boards and hitting up TikTok for the best home hacks as well, but it’s those reels that have us truly hooked, and that handy saved posts function that helps us keep all our favourite ideas in one place. Here, Good Homes magazine picks out 20 of the best interior accounts on Instagram right now…

1. @dark_revelry

Lynne and partner Josh began their @dark_revelry account as an easy way to update friends and family on the transformation of their Manchester home during lockdown – and their creative, quirky style is a must-see for fans of an Abigail Ahern-esque decorating scheme. We love the couple’s uniform use of dark colour, neon accents and statement lighting, which includes a homemade tassel chandelier.

2. @melshousetohome

Melanie started her original Instagram account, @no.52.terrace_to_table, in lockdown as a way of sharing her love of interiors and recipes with the Insta community. Her beautifully curated grid also showcased her charming Yorkshire terrace to perfection. But Melanie moved house in 2022, and is now on house reno number two! To go dark or not to go dark is the question for interior stylist Lorah-Kate, who started her @sheffieldsemi1930s account in the first lockdown as a way of figuring out what she wanted from her spaces. There’s no such thing as too much colour according to Rosie, who started her @the_flat_that_rosie_built account a couple of years ago to showcase the vibrant updates to her first home. As a keen weekend crafter, Rosie enjoys peppering her handmade pieces – from macramé to embroidery, pottery to punch needling – throughout her flat. It was after her events company came to a standstill in the first lockdown that Becky Lane, or @21oakham began channelling her energies into her home. Amazingly, she has transformed it with clever hacks and budget-savvy decorating ideas. Having just moved to the Sussex countryside to start on a third reno project, Becky’s amazing kitchen makeover cost just £100!

Vicky Thomas AKA @ourwoodfield3storey began documenting the makeover of her four-bedroom terrace in South Wales in 2019. Her love of fashion has evolved into a passion for antique finds, maximalist wallpaper, and of course, pink… We can’t wait to see the finished result.

Favouring fresh colour palettes, quirky patterned tiles and clever use of space, Londoner Justin Coakley has been putting his own stamp on his terraced home with some super-stylish results.
