Two metre long pig in blanket, £4.99, Aldi
Made with two metres of British pork and delicately seasoned with spices, there’ll be no fighting over who gets the last one with this showstopping side.
Available in Aldi stores from 5th December.
Tesco says: “Responsibly sourced juicy king prawns in a chilli and sesame sauce, hand-wrapped in filo pastry, presented in a delicate rose shape”
To drink, seafood and citrus are a match made in heaven, so we recommend serving with a Gin, Lime & Coriander Highball cocktail.
Available in store in time for Christmas.
Mini crumpets, £14 for 20 pieces, M&S
M&S says: “M&S has miniaturised the much-loved crumpet and given it a savoury twist by topping with ham hock and rarebit, or porcini and truffle.”
We recommend serving these up either as a late-morning snack before Christmas dinner or as an evening canapé with one of our supermarket sparkling wines under £20.
The Best Mushroom Steamed Buns, £2.50 for 4, Morrisons
These fluffy vegan steamed buns are filled with a blend of oriental mushrooms and soy sauce, hand finished with a cocoa dusting.

Gluten-free Brownies, £4.50 for 6 pieces, COOK
An indulgently smooth chocolate fudge brownie, this dessert canapés are not only gluten-free, but has also won a Great Taste award!
Add a touch of Christmas to these dessert canapés by serving alongside one of our pink port cocktails at your festive party or, for a decandent teatime treat during the period between Christmas and New Year, serve with Celeste Wong’s Baileys and salted caramel coffee.
Sensational veggie rolls, £6.50 for 12 rolls, COOK
These buttery puff pastry rolls filled with Feta cheese, chickpeas and red pepper will satisfy both vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.
Serve with our Pink Jalisco flower sparkling wine cocktail made with fruity orange marmalade and sparkling wine to balance to salty Feta and complement the sweetness of red peppers.
