The collection includes 30 expertly curated products which are perfect for outdoor dining throughout spring and summer 2021. The products within the collection include sharing platters, bowls, dip dishes, trays and table linens.  It’s the first time John Lewis and Waitrose have collaborated on a collection, with the tableware mirroring the new Mediterranean food range at Waitrose.

The combined tableware and Mediterranean food launch at Waitrose reflect a more relaxed eating style. This is a new concept for many of us, however it’s perfectly suited to summertime and outdoor dining. And, as we spend time with loved ones once again, sharing meals will be no doubt be popular.

The new range, known as Levantine, is named after the Levant region of the Mediterranean. This is made up of seven countries which have all provided inspiration for the designs, shapes and colours within the collection. Each piece was designed in-house, and the vibrant colours and ceramic patterns are inspired by the architecture within Levant which is world-famous for its wonderful tiles.

The much anticipated collection is perfectly suited to outdoor entertaining and alfresco snacking. So this is great news for those of us gearing up to reunite with families in our gardens post-lockdown.

Prices start from £4 for a small ceramic bowl, and the collection will be made available online at John Lewis and Waitrose from April.

But, if you can’t get them online – don’t panic. The range will also be launched in selected stores once retail outlets reopen on the 12th April.
