How to get a £9 Christmas tree from IKEA
IKEA’s Christmas tree voucher is back for 2021, meaning you can get a real Christmas tree for just £9! To claim the offer, simply pick up your real Nordmann fir tree for £29 and receive a £20 IKEA voucher to spend in the new year.
To ensure the freshest trees for customers, stores located in England and Scotland IKEA will only be stocking locally sourced Nordmann fir trees which are grown in Scotland. Meanwhile, IKEA Cardiff will stock trees grown in Wales.
The trees, available from 22 November until 23 December 2021 in participating stores, come in a variety of sizes, with a maximum height of 170cm.
‘A decorated tree is the focal point of any space,’ said Anna Liakh, commercial activities leader at IKEA UK and Ireland. ‘We’re really happy to bring back IKEA’s real Christmas trees for another year, and the added bonus means we can spread festive cheer for a few months to come, too!’
As well as ensuring trees are locally sourced (as far as possible), IKEA also encourages customers to recycle their Christmas tree in January – either compost the tree in your garden, or hand check for details of your local council or community’s collection and recycling scheme.
You can redeem your £20 IKEA voucher against a range of IKEA products from 10 January to 13 February 2022. For T&Cs of the offer and vouchers, see ikea.com.
