The beautiful collection is launching on Thursday 29th April and will be limited edition. It’s filled with colourful homewares which celebrate wanderlust, designed to transform any and every room with a moment of expression.
Inspired by Prabal’s life as a global nomad, the collection taps into worldly aesthetic with stunning colours, textures and fabrics. Each piece is meant to evoke a meaningful experience which takes you on a journey across the world from your dining table. Prabal has partnered with Etsy sellers across the globe to create the range of luxurious and colourful tabletop and decor items.
It’s the first 2021 Creator Collaboration from Etsy, a programme which connects leading edge brands and celebrity creatives with talented Etsy sellers.
Prabal said of the collection: “I believe that we are more connected to each other when we celebrate the diversity that makes the world a more joyful and colourful place. This collection welcomes you to celebrate the art of living, with a worldly sensibility that shines a light on the diverse independent makers in the global Etsy community.”
A small number of UK Etsy sellers worked with him to create it, including ceramicist Jade Gallup, owner of Jade Gallup Studio, who created an eye-catching range of candle holders and vases. Another contributor to the collection is Heidi Lawton, owner of Extra Special Touch, who has embroidered a selection of cocktail napkins which are ideal for al-fresco dinner parties.
