Add pattern and flair to your fireplace with a stylish hearth design. A hearth can be made out of brick, stone or ceramic tiles depending on which finished look you’d prefer. For an elevated and unqiue scheme, choose patterned tiles that express you and your homes personal style. A monochrome design is extremely popular for Victorian properties.

Cosy up your living room for autumn by surrounding your fireplace with dimmly lit lanterns. Candles are a no brainer for making a home feel warm and cosy; however, the extra decorative addition of a lantern or two creates an even cosier ambience. Choose varying designs for an interesting feature – black-framed, wooden and chrome look great together and are an eclectic mix of materials.

Dress your fireplace with your favourite seasonal foliage. Not only will this add a splash of colour to the area but if you choose real plants then they will give off a beautiful scent – eucalyptus is one of our faves for autumn/winter! Use as a garland to dress your mantelpiece of choose trailing plants that hang beautifully beside your fire.
