There may be a lot of fun to be had pumpkin carving, but if you look at the top interior accounts posting their pumpkins this year, you’ll find that they’ve each taken an alternative approach to this year’s seasonal display.

We’ve scoured Instagram for some of our favourite pumpkin decorating ideas to help inspire your own Halloween display.

1. Pumpkin vases

2. Pumpkin slogans

Melanie Lissack of Melanie Lissack Interiors, the queen of the doorscape, is always one to keep an eye on for seasonal inspo. She’s been going a little more au naturel of late, but this 2020 classic is a great one if you’re a fan of painted puns on pumpkins.

3. Pumpkin planter

This clever idea from Waitrose is a fun way to incorporate a pumpkin into your everyday scheme, and you can simply re-pot your plant once the winter squash season has passed.
