Our roomsets are live at Ideal Home Show spring and we think they’re our best yet – if we do say so ourselves, if our shopping picks are anything to go by.
We asked our style editor, Jessica Taverner for a few of her ingenious styling tips that you can incorporate easily in your own homes. You’re welcome.
Add texture to hard flooring

Cosy up a room and add texture to hard floors by layering a mix of patterned rugs. The trick is to pair decorative prints with either a plain or contrasting rug and then play with scale.
Accent colours on furniture

For a vibrant statement, opt for a bright, punchy colour – three or four shades darker than the wall colour – on shutters and curvaceous furniture.
Display wall art on picture ledges

Use staggered picture ledges to showcase a variety of kid’s drawings, accessories and quirky prints. Offset these against an on-trend mustard yellow wall.
Floor to ceiling headboard

An upholstered floor to ceiling headboard suits both traditional and contemporary scheme and is the perfect way to transform your bedroom into a relaxing space, adding both comfort and an eye-catching focal point.
Showcase a living wall

Liven up small spaces and add visual impact with a vertical garden – use this additional space to grow herbs or simply create a striking backdrop.
