
Valspar changes names of ‘outdated’ pink colours

Ahead of International Women’s Day, Valspar paints has rebranded a number of its pink shades with gender-neutral names.

Today, paint brand Valspar is holding its hands up and acknowledging that some of the names of its pink paints are outdated, announcing that it will be scrapping some of these names just in time for International Women’s Day!
Its range of pink paint has been given a makeover with names such as Dollface, Sweet Angel and Girly Girl changed to Woke Up Like This, Fearless and Anything You Can Do respectively.

In addition to these name changes, Valspar ais launching its #RethinkPink campaign, asking the public to take to social media to comment on the new names and also help them rename a further four paint colour names – Shy Girl, Dolled Up, Faint of Heart and Dainty Delight.
