Dick and Angel Strawbridge announce new Escape to the Chateau series
Escape to the Chateau: Make Do & Mend, hosted by Dick and Angel Strawbridge, is officially starting next week, and we can’t wait!

Our favourite TV couple and DIY extraordinaires, Angel and Dick Strawbridge have a new spin off show which starts airing on Thursday 30th July. Escape to the Chateau: Make Do & Mend follows Dick and Angel’s quest of helping out aspiring UK DIYers carry out their dream craft projects.
‘between the pair of us we have nearly a century’s worth of “make do and mend” experience and so we are really excited to share our knowledge and passion with families across the UK,’ the couple explained during an interview on This Morning.
Not only are they going to be helping aspiring craftsmen and women with their upcycling ventures but they will be working on their own secret project with a huge reveal at the end. We’re not sure about you, but we’re excited!
Dick and Angel’s new four part series ‘Escape to the Chateau: Make Do & Mend’ will start next Thursday 30th July, 8pm on Channel 4.
