Angel Strawbridge launches tableware collection with Sainsbury’s and Argos

Escape to the Chateau’s Angel Strawbridge has a new range that is perfect for afternoon tea

Escape to the Chateau’s Angel Strawbridge has delighted us all with a new afternoon tea collection landing in Sainsbury’s stores and online at Argos just in time for Mother’s Day.
The range of tableware is wonderfully vintage and includes a tiered cake stand, serving platters, cups and saucers, and more – all designed with her own unique flair. The floral prints come from Angel’s love of wildflowers and her own garden at the chateau in France, with the delicate blue, teal and mustard shades used giving the range a real springtime feel.

The new range comes at the perfect time, with afternoon tea being more popular than ever. Searches for it more than tripled throughout January, with ‘afternoon tea delivery’ up more than 250% on search engines! This is thought to be due to the growing trends for grand tablescapes inspired by the regal renaissance created through TV series like Bridgerton, and the continued lockdown leaving us all adapting to a slower pace of life.
The products in the range cost between £5-£25 and are available in store at Sainsbury’s now and will be available to order online at Argos in March. They are part of the new HOME brand at Sainsbury’s and Argos, offering a wide variety of household items at great value.
