Get the Cottagecore look in your home with a cosy stove
December 5, 2022
Whether you live in the countryside or in the middle of a city, one design trend that’s universally loved is Cottagecore. The aesthetic draws inspiration from aspects of a rural lifestyle, including simple living and being in harmony with nature. A real log burner or fireplace is a sure-fire way to get the Cottagecore look in your home. Wood-burning stoves provide an authentic appeal to living as one with nature, helping you to create a cosy space to share with family and friends all year round.
PROMOTIONAL FEATURE
If you’re looking for a centrepiece to complete the traditional look of your rural home, or you are coveting a cosy corner or room in a townhouse in which to relax, check out Stovax’s leading range of wood-burning stoves and fires.
The following Stovax models feature state-of-the-art high-efficiency combustion systems designed to comply with future Ecodesign regulations, so owning a real log burner doesn’t mean you need to live in the past.
Traditional log burners
Traditional wood-burning stoves are designed to suit a range of homes and styles, with each model offering something unique to your interior decor.
For gothic styling with a choice of clear or tracery door try the Stovax Huntingdon range of stoves, while the Stockton and County collections offer timeless styling, with rounded edges and landscape viewing windows offering a spectacular flame view. The latter stoves can also come in compact sizes, ideal for smaller spaces and inglenooks.

Models such as the Stovax Sheraton and Chesterfield provide elegance to their Cottagecore appeal. Both prioritise crisp signature cornicing and bevelling details, which frame their large portrait viewing windows. Wide models are also available for a wider viewing window, but with a shallower depth.
Electric and Gas log burners
A real log fire is a fantastic way to introduce a fireside aesthetic, but what if you don’t have a chimney? With electric log burners requiring little more than a mains electricity connection to install, and many gas stoves being available for use with both conventional and balanced flues, you have plenty of options to choose between.
You can still achieve the Cottagecore look with an electric log burner or gas log burner, with the ease and convenience of being able to turn the heat on or off at the touch of a button. Gas stoves, such as the award-winning Gazco Loft, come with a remote control for igniting and extinguishing your stove from a distance and offer tall dancing flames and authentic log fuel effects for realism.
Electric stoves or fires, such as Gazco eReflex 150RW, offer maximum convenience alongside great flame visuals powered by their Chromalight LED technology. With many electric stoves, you can tailor the flame display to your taste and control the temperature, including switching it on and off, from a distance with the remote control. To complete the Cottagecore look, add textures such as cushions, blankets and rugs.
