Gifting experts at Unifury have been scouring the latest trends for Christmas-related searches, and have found that we’re being inspired by our favourite film and pop stars when it comes to the colour of our Christmas tree and decorations this year.

The company drilled down into the latest Pinterest Trends data, and has identified the most popular Christmas decor selections.

This festive season is sure to be a stylish one.

I’m Dreaming of a Pink Christmas

According to Unifury, searches for ‘Pink Christmas Tree’ have shot up by 286% in the past six months. The movie might have proved a massive summer hit, but it seems that Barbie mania is continuing into the festive season. And it’s inspiring a rush for pink holiday decor.  

A pink Christmas tree is the perfect way to channel your inner Barbie at Christmas. It’s more exciting than the traditional green and will bring a fun vibe to your home over the holiday season.  

And it’s not just a pink tree that’s proving popular this year. Searches for ‘Pink Christmas decorations’ have also seen a surge of 198% in the past six months. So get ready for lots of pink baubles, tinsel and lights to bring a vibrant holiday atmosphere. 

Beyoncé Vibes at Christmas 

During the mammoth run of her Renaissance tour, Beyoncé and her backing singers and dancers sported a range of stunning metallic and chromatic costumes.

So it’s no surprise that Pinterest searches for ‘silver Christmas tree’ have leapt by 250%, while searches for ‘silver and gold Christmas tree’ rocketed by 335%.  

If you want to perfect a Beyoncé-inspired Christmas, splash out on some silver baubles or a wreath to achieve this on-trend look.  

Christmas Swifties

The most dedicated Christmas decorating award must surely go to fans of Taylor Swift, known as Swifties. They’re clearly busy planning their Taylor-made Christmas as searches for ‘Taylor Swift Christmas’ have risen by 220%.

We’re sure many homes will be filled with ornaments and decorations inspired by the colour palette of Swift’s Eras tour, including purple, pink, green and orange hues.

The singer has also recently released her 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album, so other Swifties may opt to channel this record with blue and soft green tones for their festive decor.
