Reflecting on her collection, Abigail said she wanted to create a bold, super-glam range of curtains, blinds and cushions that would instantly transform any room you put them in.

“Walk into any one of my spaces and jaws hit the floor,” she explains. “I wanted to bring this alchemy to my collaboration with Hillarys. Fabrics had to play up my obsession with texture and pattern and feel tantalisingly tactile in a beautiful but reigned in palette.”

The details

“The devil, as they say, is in the detail – and finishing touches take your home to the next level of cool. Fringing adds instant pizzazz to blinds and a subtle element of cocooning softness at the window. I’m all about challenging design conventions and dispelling myths so introducing coloured linings on curtains is a real game-changer. Why shouldn’t your home look as amazing from the outside as it does inside?“

Cushions to match

Cushion covers in metallic faux leather, the option to have different fabrics front and back, contrasting or co-ordinating fringing and a wide choice of sizes are an enticing feature of the collection. “I’m more than a little obsessed with cushions,” adds Abigail.

“They’re the five minute face lift of the decorating world and one of the easiest things you can do in transforming or revamping a room. Relatively inexpensive they add colour, depth, pattern and comfort and immediately enliven anything you put them on. I’m super excited that you can choose different fabrics for each side so can literally swap them over to suit your mood, décor or season. And a hit of metallic adds instant glam.”

Susan White, marketing director, Hillarys says:

“We adore how Abigail marches to the beat of her own drum when it comes to her design sensibilities. Rule-breaker, game-changer, eclectic, whatever you want to call Abigail’s style, there’s no denying that she has it and sets it. Her style transcends trends and plays in a quirky world of its own. This intoxicating collection perfectly reflects Abigail Ahern’s darkly glamorous and edgy design style.”
