@cleanipedia_uk Next time you clean your oven, try this hack @Elton John 😏 Oven deep clean: ✨ Cif Cream on the (cool) oven door ✨ Cover with cling film ✨ Wait 1+ hour, peel, scrub ✨ Wipe with a microfibre cloth 💾 Save for later #cifcream #cleantok #eltonjohn #deepclean #oven ♬ Elton John – LOUCOS CLAN
How it works
As you can see, the process is quite simple.
All you need to do is to apply a layer of cleaning cream to your oven and then seal it with a layer of cling film.
As per the video, the cream recommended is the CIF cleanboost cream, but you could probably use any oven cleaner.
The cream is left on for an hour in the video, but others have tested out the hack and left it as long as 24 hours – so we would suggest leaving it as long as you can for the best results.
Although it might also depend on just how filthy your oven is – if it’s in dire need of a clean, 24 hours might be required, but a touch up clean could mean an hour is sufficient.
