The must-visit workshops at Ideal Home Show Christmas 2025
October has arrived and with it the rush of excitement for the upcoming run up to Christmas. Of course, the first step on our Christmas train is the Ideal Home Show Christmas – the festive event of the year.
It’s taking place between 26-30 November 2025 and is a one stop destination for Christmas shopping, decoration inspiration, amazing food, and festive themed workshops to indulge in.
Here we run down some of our unmissable workshops for this year, so you can plan your visit accordingly…
1. The Art of Tablescaping with The Table Stylist
Interior stylist Lucy Pateman, founder of The Table Stylist, is leading a masterclass in mindful and enchanting festive table design.
Lucy’s ethos is rooted in natural materials and wellbeing, so part of the workshop will show you how to use foraged greenery, elegant linens and handmade details to transform your table into a magical centrepiece for festive gatherings.
Guests will also learn the craft of velvet napkin bows, adding a personal flourish to celebrations.
2. Festive Styling with The Style Makers
Dynamic interiors duo Laurie and Réli, known as The Style Makers, will bring their wealth of styling expertise to a series of workshops and stage talks across the show.
In their Seasonal Scented Centrepiece workshop, visitors will create an elegant handmade display infused with festive fragrance.
If you’re after something with a more sustainable angle, the Festive Fabric Wreaths workshop will offer the chance to craft a reusable decoration to treasure for years to come.
3. Creative Christmas Crafts
For visitors seeking fun, family-friendly activities, creative host Caitlon Senior returns with workshops adding a personal touch to festive traditions.
The Stocking Decorating sessions will invite guests to design and embellish their own keepsake stockings. Additionally, the Christmas Cracker Making & Decorating workshop will offer a joyful way to personalise this seasonal staple.
Each of the crafty experiences include a complimentary glass of bubbly, alcoholic or non alcoholic so you can enjoy a tipple while your inspiration flows.
