Immerse yourself in festive fun by visiting an amazing illuminated Christmas trail this year. Often held in some of the most beautiful venues across the UK, wherever you are based I’m sure they’ll be an experience to suit you and your family.

Enchanted Audley End – Audley End House (until 30th December)

Share an adventure with your friends and family this Christmas. Discover an enchanting world of light and colour as you and the family experience the illuminated garden trail at Audley End House. Afterwards, treat yourself to a glass of mulled wine or toast a marshmallow under the night sky. Child tickets are priced at £7.50 and £12 for adults.

Royal Botanic Gardens – Edinburgh (until 29th December)

This after-dark extravaganza at the Royal Botanic Gardens features dancing lasers, a 70m tunnel filled with fairy lights and hundreds of illuminated floating origami boats. You can experience all of this and more for just £11 per person.

Illuminated light trail – Blenheim palace, Oxfordshire (until 1st January)

The towering tunnel of light will twinkle with over 100,000 pea lights, while the woodland laser garden and the scented fire garden are all back again this year at Blenheim Palace.

The water terrace light finale dances across the historic site whilst their are much-loved Christmas classics playing in the background – totally festive! Adult tickets are £20 and children can get in for £14.50.

Christmas at Belton – Belton House, Lincolnshire (until 30th December)

This December Belton’s hosting the region’s biggest and brightest outdoor Christmas trail around the gardens at night. Complete with traditional Victorian fairground rides and tasty seasonal treats – it’s an enchanting evening for all the family. Tickets are priced at £17.50 for adults and £12 for children.

Festival of light and sound – Eden Project, Cornwall (until 30th December)

If you’re heading down to Cornwall over the Christmas period, the festival of light and sound at the Eden Project is a must-see!

Be entertained by the Eden Christmas Orchestra, a cast of 16 of Cornwall’s finest musicians playing festive sets in the magical Mediterranean Biome.

Alice in Wonderland at Lightwater Valley, Ripon – (until 30th December)

Come and see hundreds of giant illuminated sculptures that illustrates the stories from Alice in Wonderland. Discover a giant chess board, watch the mad hatter prepare for his tea party and more!

Food and drink will be on offer and guests can indulge in a seasonal glass of something tasty whilst enjoying the light experience. Tickets start at £10.
