Spring is the perfect time to switch up your interior scheme and bring some freshness into your home. New research, conducted by Berkeley Group, surveyed 2,000 UK residents and found that over a quarter of homeowners consider changing their interiors at least once a month.
It also uncovered these top trends they are loving this spring summer season.

Adding natural materials into your interior scheme can make your home feel more tactile and cosy. A few of our faves are rattan furniture, deep pile woven rugs and reclaimed wood.
Spring is the perfect opportunity to pick up a few natural pieces as it brings the outdoors in, encouraging you to merge your indoor and outdoor spaces into one. A whopping 29% of people will be following this trend this spring.
Abstract art

Sometimes, all your home needs is an injection of colour to bring it up-to-date. A great way of doing so is to pick up a few abstract art pieces and some patterned soft furnishings to jazz up your existing walls and furniture.
Curved furniture

In contrast to the clean hard lines, curved furniture is now making a comeback. Adding a curved sofa or table is a great way to introduce drama and a sleek finish into any room.
Florals for spring is nothing new, however each year there is a new take on the ever popular trend and in 2020 it’s all about the foliage.
The Nostalgia Botanical wallpaper from Woodchip & Magnolia brings an Indian summer of British seasonal foraged grass and seeded foliage, which is proudly made at its studio in Lancashire.

Velvet has been around for a hot minute but it’s time to give it a makeover for spring summer. Opt for velvets in bright sunshine shades instead of the typical jewelled tones.
Switch up your accessories by incorporating velvet into your lighting and soft furnishings. For more ideas, read our guide to styling velvet in your home.
