Bring magic to your home this Christmas with this clever idea

A white Christmas might not be on the cards this year, but families can still bring home the magic with this new exciting concept.

Santa’s Magic Chimney is an enchanting elf-sized fireplace designed to spark connection, wonder and new family traditions, wrapped in nostalgia for the modern digital world.

What is Santa’s Magic Chimney?

It was created by specialist teacher and mum of four, Martina Woodworth and is a beautifully-made, child sized fireplace that lets children everywhere (with a chimney or not) send their letters straight to Santa through the soft felt flames.

It revives the forgotten concept that letters cast into fire travel up the flue and fly across the sky to the North pole.

Blending nostalgia, neuroscience and storytelling into a magical moment of connection.

The fireplaces are eco-friendly and handmade using sustainable Paulownia wood.

Each chimney features a hidden letter slot, soft felt flames and a special letter-writing kit to spark ideas.

Where does the chimney go?

The perfect spot is chosen by parents, whether that’s the lounge, a cosy hallway or elsewhere, the magic is activated.

It’s then not to be moved, or the portal will close and the jingles could fall out and be list forever.

Once decorated with crafts, stockings hung and Santa snacks left nearby, families can watch the magic come alive through laughter and magical moments.

Martina explains: “When a child posts their letter, it isn’t just a message to Santa, it’s a moment of being seen, held and remembered. Children glow, parents soften, and a tiny new ritual becomes a habit and tradition that lasts forever.

“After creating this for my family many years ago, I wanted to pass it onto others.

“Whether you have a real fire or not, this glowing portal straight to the North Pole leaves memories, not soot.”

Parents feedback has already been overwhelmingly positive, with one parent, Claire saying “I cried watching her post the letter,” James and Lila sharing, “This made our Christmas,” and Sarah adding, “My daughter gasped, then whispered, ‘He really came.’”

What is the Jingle Joy service?

If you’re mindful of budgets this year, an alternative service, the free Jingle Joy launches on the 8th December.

This is a free countdown with no downloads or purchases needed.

All that is required is to sign up on the website for daily magical greetings and quick, parent-child challenges.

Jingle Joy moments are playful, feel-good ways to power Santa’s sleigh and create lasting memories.

“We know not every family has the budget for a chimney so Jingle Joy is free for everyone,” Martina adds.

“Every child deserves to feel Christmas, not just see it. Sometimes the smallest moments create the biggest magic.”

These are meaningful concepts to bring back the joy of Christmas, away from screens and batteries, and bringing back traditional joy, one letter, glow and moment at a time.
