‘We love to entertain, and opening the space up between the kitchen, living room and extension has made it a much more sociable home,’ says Natalie. The table and bench are from Cox & Cox and the reproduction Tolix chairs from Cult Furniture.

The original living area adjacent to the dining room creates a relaxed space for pre-Christmas lunch drinks. The console table and footstool are from Haus, with the sofas and jute rug from IKEA. The French herbier wall art, found at Hill & Co Home creates a subtle feature wall.

Taking centre stage for the Christmas festivities, a woodburner from Woodwarm Stoves adds a welcoming glow to the new space. The 6ft Grand Spruce from The White Company is classically dressed, with a Swedish coffee table from Haus complementing the rustic ambience.
