Introducing our newest obsession – the SonicScrubber Rechargeable System.
The older, battery-powered version, is already a TikTok favourite – hailed as a cleaning essential by hundreds of CleanTok fans.
For those who aren’t familiar with the brand, SonicScrubber is an electric scrubbing brush that’s widely hailed as a must-have cleaning gadget – and the original, battery-powered version is already loved by thousands, including cleaning influencers Mrs Hinch, Stacey Solomon and Anna Louisa.
Our reviewer put the new version to the test…
What’s new with the SonicScrubber?
The new and improved SonicScrubber is rechargeable – so batteries are no longer required.
This also means it’s lighter, quieter and has a sleek new premium, matt-blue finish with an improved grip.
As a result, it’s easier to change the brush heads with wet hands to keep your cleaning momentum going.
It’s USB rechargeable so you can charge it as easily as you can your phone.
How easy is it to use the SonicScrubber?
It’s incredibly easy to use!
With four detachable heads (for different purposes, with more options available to buy if needed) that all connect in a swift push and twist motion, it’s quick and easy to move from one job to the next.
Personally, I found it very efficient at cleaning tiles – far quicker than using a cloth or wipe as I would have done previously.

When cleaning limescale, it worked well used with a normal cleaning spray and was great at getting underneath and around the push down plug – which is otherwise very tricky to get your fingers underneath to clean.
The pointy attachment was perfect for getting in between the tiles and right into the difficult to access corners.
It’s also particularly useful when cleaning any muck that collects underneath your draining board
When it comes to upholstery the large attachment was great and, with minimal pressure, the SonicScrubber easily cleans stains out of car seats, sofas and carpet – something that would usually leave me scrubbing for hours to get a good result!
There are honestly so many different uses I found for the device (and counting!)
One of my favourite uses I found is that it’s super for cleaning the oven or hob (the more robust head is excellent for removing any grime that collects) – this is usually one of my most hated chores, but with the SonicScrubber, it’s now much more satisfying.

How long does the SonisScrubber’s charge last?
For me, I found that I got a good three hours between charges – giving plenty of time to do most of your weekly jobs without having to worry about a flat battery.
It then only takes a couple of hours until fully-charged again – so by the time you nip out and do your weekly shop the sonic scrubber will be ready to go upon your return.

How does cleaning with the SonicScrubber compare to manual cleaning?
I found it to achieve a better result than when manual cleaning – and it’s much faster too.
My new favourite jobs are the bathroom tiles, plugs and car upholstery.
Is the SonicScrubber good value for money?
At £34.95 with all the attachments (not to mention the time it saves me), I think the rechargeable SonicScrubber system is great value for money – although be mindful that when the heads need replacing, they’re between £8.95 and £9.95 (depending on the size) for a pack of two.
Would you recommend the SonicScrubber?
Absolutely! It’s a gamechanger when it comes to daily cleaning tasks. I’d say, the only negative might be the noise – but this would only be an issue if you’re cleaning close to any adjoining neighbours’ walls at night!

Where can I buy one?
The SonicScrubber Rechargeable System is available online at Amazon, or you can order it directly at the official store, sonicscrubber.com.
