If there’s one trend we’ve spotted coming to the forefront for Christmas over the last year, it’s for hanging a festive foliage display over the dining table.

Whether real or artificial, traditionally festive or not, it’s a trend that’s being interpreted in all kinds of forms, but that really delivers the ‘wow-factor’ when it comes to your Christmas dinner table.

Stylist Jessica Taverner came up with this brilliant way of adding foliage to a Fritz Fryer chandelier light in our Good Homes Nordic Luxe roomset, using a simple wreath ring and some artificial ivy – so clever!

If you fancy having a go for your Christmas table, we’ve picked some of our favourite inspiration from the high street and beyond on how to create a fabulous festive display.

Weave into a pendant light

If you don’t have a light similar to the Fritz Fryer one above, why not try using your existing pendant light. This woven shade makes it easy to attached festive foliage, but it could be done just as easily with clips to a normal pendant. Just be careful to keep your foliage away from potentially hot elements such as bulbs.
