Are you one of the thousands of people who switched to home working in lockdown? Or perhaps a long-term remote worker who’s known for years that — with a few tweaks — outbuildings can provide an idyllic, peaceful home office space you need?
We saw the rise in she-sheds and man caves for leisure, but if you’ve built a work from home space you’re proud of, why not enter a competition to win £250? What’s more, the largest general insurer and leading life and pensions provider will also share your hard work on their website and social media platforms.
So regardless of when you did the work or how much you spent, the multinational insurance company want to hear from you.

Their judge is none other than property expert, podcast host and author Louisa Fletcher. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, she is a pro when it comes to all things home improvement and will be looking for DIY skills, creativity, innovative design and overall usefulness of the conversion. What’s more, bonus points will be awarded for savvy use of your budget.
Buying her first house at 19, Louisa caught the property bug and went on to buy, renovate and sell numerous properties throughout her twenties, making a healthy profit along the way. She has worked with some of the largest estate agents, mortgage brokers, new home builders and property websites in the UK. Excitingly, she also advises celebrities, sportspeople, high net worth individuals and even royal families on their property assets and portfolios.

How to enter
Enter Aviva’s Facebook competition by 1st June 2021 for a chance to win.
To do this, go to their Facebook page and share a photo of your shed-to-office transformation as a reply to Aviva’s best ‘shoffice’ competition post.
The prize
The three best entries will each win a £250 voucher from their choice of either Amazon, B&Q, Ikea, John Lewis or Currys PC World – perfect for adding finishing touches to your workspace! Each makeover will also be featured on Aviva’s site and across their social channels.
Competition rules
To be eligible for the competition, each ‘shoffice’ must be a DIY project. For example, this could be a converted shed, garage or self-build created by you. There are no date restrictions on when you built your project, however entries close on 1st June 2021 at 17:00pm.
