Looking to make a bold interiors statement? Head to Habitat and check out its hyped new collab with artist Luke Edward Hall
Luke Edward Hall may not be a name you're familiar with, but the interior designer, artist and tastemaker is already making waves with the world of luxury design with his signature style – a riot of colour, historical influences and joie de vivre.
If this sounds like a decorating style you can get on board with, then good news - high street retailer Habitat has just unveiled a brand new collaboration with the artist. We're very excited about the mini collection, which features everything from statement upholstery to versions of his popular wall art prints, but if you want to get in on the action, you'll have to act fast - some of the products have sold out already!
Spencer velvet armchair, £995
This unusual mix of emerald green and sky blue in this Circus Stripe velvet is one of Luke's favourite colour combinations. The Spencer armchair (which is also available in a two-seater sofa) is inspired by the 1960s, and each is handmade in Italy to order.
A lot of Luke's work is informed by Greek and Roman mythology, as this stylised bust sketch is typical of his style. The combination of blush pink and emerald green is strong yet adaptable to a range of interior styles.
Continuing the mythological thread through this collection, these wall prints are mounted on bold red and green backings and each is signed by the artist, so they may become a collector's item one day!
Contrasting his illustrations with bold graphic stripes gives some of Luke's work a collage-style feel. This design may be on the pricey side, but it's a true statement piece that can be teamed with and elevate other plain and simple cushions on your sofa.
It's true, we're big fans of a designer collaboration here at GoodHomes - check out Olivia Rubin's new collection with Etsy if you're looking to bring more tastemaking style to your home interiors.
