There's good news for homeowners looking to put their property on the market this new year. January remains the best time to list your property to ensure a speedy sale, with homes listed in January selling the fastest than in any other month of the year.

Data from the HomeOwners Alliance estate agent comparison tool estateagent4me offers insight into the time it takes to sell a property, with those on the market in January easier to shift. So much so that over the past five years, homes listed in January have taken just 58 days to sell on average.
