Remove your kitchen cabinet doors to display your favourite dishes or to create a Pinterest-worthy pantry with jars. Purchasing new cabinets or open shelving isn't cheap but transforming the wall furniture you already have is!
Recycle glass bottles

Rather than purchasing a new vase, recycle your favourite glass bottles to house your favourite flowers or to use as an interesting centrepiece. If you need to remove a label, use nail varnish remove. Also, if you're feeling extra frugal, forage for free flowers.
Create a sweet display
Rather than purchasing new kitchen ornaments, use second-hand glass jars to display sweets, biscuits or even fruit. Oranges, lemons and limes make the perfect pop of colour. Finish off your jar with a pretty ribbon or bespoke labels.

Create your own artwork to jazz up your kitchen shelves. Try using gold foil personalise a boring mug or a sheet of glass. Or, if you're currently homeschooling your kids, use their artwork to decorate your kitchen for a heartwarming touch.
Add a table runner
Add a DIY table runner to your dining table or breakfast bar for a splash of pattern and interest. Use a fabric strip or an oversized scarf for the illusion of a bigger table. It will break up the large expanse of table you have and also protect it.
