Decorating our homes for Christmas isn't just about the Christmas tree, there are many other things to consider. Like us, you are probably huge fans of houseplants, so we've put together a few of our favourites for this time of year.

Eucalyptus stems

The eucalyptus plant is a great choice for winter. They have a very Christmassy scent similar to pine and mint.

Group a few together and display in a jar for a minimalist look, or use them to transform a plain bouquet of flowers.

Space-saving Christmas tree

If every year you can't decide whether or not to opt for a real or faux Christmas tree, the Dobbies Norfolk Pine might be the perfect solution offering the best of both worlds – a real tree that will last longer than just the Christmas period.

The petite Norfolk Pine can flourish either outside or inside throughout the summer months.

Pineapple plant (Ananas)

This show-stopping plant will definitely make a statement in your home. If you can't be eccentric and over the top at Christmas, then when can you?

The pineapple plant is a tropical variety and enjoys plenty of light, basking in the attention when placed in a prime position on your windowsill.

Poinsettia

The red and green profile of the Poinsettia plant is synonymous with Christmas and will look ultra festive in your home. Dot them around your Christmas table for a truly festive feel or they also make amazing gifts, too.

Anthurium

Whatever your interior style is, you can find some indoor greenery to make the look come to life. Add splashes of colour to neutral spaces with Anthurium plants.

They come in a variety of colours and look fab planted in either a metallic or glass vase. We love the red variety for Christmas, as they look traditionally festive.
