With over 95 million images posted on Instagram every day and over 300 million stories shared, we’re officially a nation of ‘grammers’ capturing and sharing our daily lives with the world. Getting the right shot to share can be a lot easier if you’re in the right place, but where in the UK could that be?

To celebrate National Picnic Week (15th-24th June), award-winning botanically brewed drinks maker, Fentimans has unveiled the results from its nationwide survey to reveal the UK’s top 10 instagrammable picnic destinations.

So fix up a packed lunch that looks as good as it tastes, get yourself Instagram-ready, and head to one of these scenic picnic spots.

In the survey of over 2,000 people, Fentimans identified Durdle Door in Dorset, as the UK’s number one picnic destination, with a third (33%) of respondents deeming the South-West location as the most worthy of taking the Instagram crown.

Located in the Lulworth Estate in south Dorset, the coastline was appointment as England's first natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2001 due to its geographical importance. It's also considered as one of the natural wonders of the world, along with America's Grand Canyon and Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Right, we need to visit Dorset now!

It's a tranquil woodland area surrounded by animals, and emcompasses three lakes. It's claimed that the most popular view is looking down the lake towards Fleetwith Pike.

And if you feel like taking a stroll with your camera, Buttermere offers some of the best walks in the country along one of the most scenic routes in Lakeland.

Tenby's beaches have four main bathing areas including the South beach, which is made up of 2 kilometres of golden sand spanning the shoreline of St. Catherine's Island to Giltar Point, backed by striking sand dunes. The Harbour beach is a small, beautiful beach sheltered by the rear of the harbour bay. It's only a short walk from the town centre, and boat trips run from the harbour to Caldey Island at high tide - although, you may want to avoid a wind swept selfie.
