“Wreaths are the perfect accessory for city dwellers and those less green-thumbed among us”, says Bella. Wreaths aren’t just for Christmas or any other holiday celebration in fact, you can hang a wreath all year round. Just use your favourite flowers and foliage to wrap around an oasis ring, which can be frequently switched up.

Muted tones

“Interestingly, this year I’ve seen some of my favourite brightly coloured front doors painted in more neutral shades such as grey and beige. A lot of people are also opting for pale blues and greens. This could signal a broader trend towards a more pared back aesthetic in the coming months.”

If you’re planning to paint your front door a different colour, be sure to use a primer beforehand to get that perfect finish.

Bring an essence of your own personality into the way you decide to decorate your front door. Bella explains that “door knockers like bees, chilli peppers and pineapples add a point of interest to the front door and are fun way to show off the homeowner’s personality.”

Pretty plants

“Lavender, clematis and roses are very popular flower choices this year. For the lucky few that have wisteria, they may find themselves subject to the #wisteriahysteria admirers!” These particular plants are proven to give your home more kerb appeal and make it look attractive to passers by as well as potential buyers.
