Tiny trees

Because trees are for life, not just for Christmas, Bloom & Wild's offering are all replantable!

Magicked through the letterbox – with mini baubles, lights and pop-up pots – these tiny trees trend on Instagram every year. This year’s tiny trees were born in 2016, when ‘tree makers’ at their family run farm in the Netherlands planted cuttings from ‘mother trees’ into pots of soil. Before yours leaves the farm, a tiny little cutting will be taken from it and planted into the soil for 2022’s trees. And because they're making steps to be kinder to the planet, the packaging is 100% recyclable this year!

Abundant foilage

Filling the home with winter foliage is the fastest way to make it look, feel and smell like Christmas is coming. And while this trend looks Scandi-cool when done simply, when done in abundance it feels oh-so magical. This year, all of the foliage comes from Ireland, where its grown with care by expert farmers, without any harmful pesticides. This is because Ireland has such perfect weather and soil conditions for foliage to thrive in – there’s no need for greenhouses. Instead, the foliage is field grown, which hugely reduces its carbon footprint.

Merry and bright

Make a statement with bold and bright blooms, sprinkled with glitter this year. This nostalgic trend takes us back to the 80s and brings an abundance of playfulness with it.

"This Christmas, bright flowers and coloured foilage will take centre stage as people become more playful than ever with their decorations. This bouquets packed with hot pinks and bold blues, mixed with glittering ferns of painted eucalyptus, and with Christmas trees decked in glittering baubles for a kitsch effect."

Back to nature

Turn your space into a winter wonderland with these simple Nordic accents.

The Nordic trend is simple but by no means minimal. Bring nature indoors with plenty of raw wood and foliage – perfect for those who like the natural look. Think dried flowers, seeds and twigs, juicy winter berries and lush green foliage like eucalyptus, fir and pine – all in in soft ivory whites, earthy tones and greens with silvery undertones.

"A really simple but stunning way to use our DIY Decorations Kit is to separate out the foilage and place pieces onto your mantelpiece or table settings. Add a few hypericum berries for a splash of colour and nostalgia." says Bloom and Wild's Lead stylist.

Christmas tradition
