Want to cosy your home up for autumn? Staying warm is one of the main elements that keeps your home feeling cosy and inviting. Despite the myths, electric blankets are a great option if you want to stay warm without racking up heating bills.

What are electric blankets?

An electric blanket is a blanket that has heated wires running through it. It can either be an underblanket, overblanket, throw or duvet to provide extra warmth in the colder months.

How much do electric blankets cost to run?

This totally depends on what electric blanket you choose to buy and how long you have it running for. However, on average electric blankets will cost between 1p-10p per night, which is a similar cost to leaving a light on! So, if you're wanting to stay warm it's a cost-effective way of doing so.

Who are electric blankets for?

Arguably, an electric blanket could save you some money on your electric bill, especially if you feel the cold and like to stay warm in the evenings.
